When a group of social media influencers are invited to promote Jagged Island, an amusement park and resort for the uber wealthy, they are all pumped to be included。 All starts out well but then one of them goes missing and then another, soon the bodies start to pile up and the only one who seems to be able to unravel any of it is true crime podcaster, Paisley。 But who can she trust? This book was completely amazing, and I know I'll be reading this again many times in the future。 The main characters were fully-developed and each had a very distinct personality。 The plot was very thought-out and unraveled beautifully with every sentence。 Moreover, each detail and every description had a perfect effect on the story, making it unable to be put down, even for a second。 This book was proof of Natasha Preston's amazing writing skills。 This book was completely amazing, and I know I'll be reading this again many times in the future。 The main characters were fully-developed and each had a very distinct personality。 The plot was very thought-out and unraveled beautifully with every sentence。 Moreover, each detail and every description had a perfect effect on the story, making it unable to be put down, even for a second。 This book was proof of Natasha Preston's amazing writing skills。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 It was definitely edge-of-your-seat kind of book! The ending was a bit predictable but I didn’t see it coming。 Once I thought about it, I was like, Oh! It definitely makes me want a sequel to know what happened to Harper and Liam and if Paisley died from drowning, because Reeve was right there。 But yes, an amazing book!

I really enjoyed this book until the ending。 It seemed like the author didn’t finish the book。 I actually looked for more pages。 Definitely read like a horror film!

Six teenagers are invited for a weekend to an amusement park on an Island。 After the first night, one of them is missing。 He is later found stuffed in an ice cream cart, dead。 Someone among them or the staff is a killer。 I could not put this book down and finished it in one day。 The ending is a shocker。

The way a book is written will drive me to pick up another book by the same author。 The ending was less than desirable for me, I didn’t see the point, unless there would be a follow on book, and I can’t see there being enough story for a second book, so if this is just the style of writing, I can’t invest the time in reading a book that doesn’t finish off everything for me, I like to be able to move onto my next book with a “clean slate” on my single novel reads。 I’m sure some people enjoy these The way a book is written will drive me to pick up another book by the same author。 The ending was less than desirable for me, I didn’t see the point, unless there would be a follow on book, and I can’t see there being enough story for a second book, so if this is just the style of writing, I can’t invest the time in reading a book that doesn’t finish off everything for me, I like to be able to move onto my next book with a “clean slate” on my single novel reads。 I’m sure some people enjoy these types of books, but it’s just not my preference。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 It ends。。 on a cliffhanger。 Liam was my first guess for who the killer was。 As scream says, it’s always the love interest。 Reeves and Gibson was too obvious。 I guessed that Liam would have some connection to Malcolm, but I figured he would be his dad rather than his uncle。 I got suspicious of Harper a little later in the book but I honestly didn’t think it would both of them。Overall I loved it, I buy all of Natasha Preston’s thrillers and this might be one of my favorites along with you will be It ends。。 on a cliffhanger。 Liam was my first guess for who the killer was。 As scream says, it’s always the love interest。 Reeves and Gibson was too obvious。 I guessed that Liam would have some connection to Malcolm, but I figured he would be his dad rather than his uncle。 I got suspicious of Harper a little later in the book but I honestly didn’t think it would both of them。Overall I loved it, I buy all of Natasha Preston’s thrillers and this might be one of my favorites along with you will be mine。 Can’t wait for her next one。 。。。more

Definitely a YA book。 Some of the characters were annoying, including the main character。 I think that was because they were written as teenagers quite well though, lol。 There was a pretty good twist and an ending that I still haven't decided what I think。 Definitely makes this a 4 star from me。 Definitely a YA book。 Some of the characters were annoying, including the main character。 I think that was because they were written as teenagers quite well though, lol。 There was a pretty good twist and an ending that I still haven't decided what I think。 Definitely makes this a 4 star from me。 。。。more

This book is suspenseful but many times overly dramatic。 A group of teenage influencers are invited to an island which houses an amusement park developed by an extremely wealthy man。 They are expected to post videos of their trip and are excited to have been selected。 Before the weekend is over, however, murders abound and the reader doesn't know who to trust。 The young people are hunted like prey by someone but they don't know who。 I was caught up in the intrigue at times but then the twists an This book is suspenseful but many times overly dramatic。 A group of teenage influencers are invited to an island which houses an amusement park developed by an extremely wealthy man。 They are expected to post videos of their trip and are excited to have been selected。 Before the weekend is over, however, murders abound and the reader doesn't know who to trust。 The young people are hunted like prey by someone but they don't know who。 I was caught up in the intrigue at times but then the twists and turns became more and more unrealistic。 I hated the ending。 。。。more

The narration of this book is told by a true crime / murder influencer on social media, Paisley。 Paisley is a part of a select amount of influencers who were invited to an island that has a gothic themed amusement park & attached is a hotel attached。 No one has access to leave to come to the island & when things start to happen on this secluded island, the group of teens realize just how far from civilization they are。I don’t think I have ever read anything that is set at an empty amusement park The narration of this book is told by a true crime / murder influencer on social media, Paisley。 Paisley is a part of a select amount of influencers who were invited to an island that has a gothic themed amusement park & attached is a hotel attached。 No one has access to leave to come to the island & when things start to happen on this secluded island, the group of teens realize just how far from civilization they are。I don’t think I have ever read anything that is set at an empty amusement park that has yet to open but this was a fun premise。 I love that Paisley is a crime influencer I think it add such a nice element to the story。 As always Natasha will twist the ending you won’t see coming。 Love her work, highly recommend this read! 。。。more

Let me just start by saying。。。 oh my god this book。 I don't even know where to begin。 It was an extremely fun read and kept me enthralled from the very second I flipped to the first page。 Natasha Preston is the type of author that likes to throw curveballs at you from the left and the right so that once you get to the ending, you never saw it coming。 I tried to use my reasoning skills and highlight all the red flags I saw at the beginning of the book to try and piece together the pieces of the p Let me just start by saying。。。 oh my god this book。 I don't even know where to begin。 It was an extremely fun read and kept me enthralled from the very second I flipped to the first page。 Natasha Preston is the type of author that likes to throw curveballs at you from the left and the right so that once you get to the ending, you never saw it coming。 I tried to use my reasoning skills and highlight all the red flags I saw at the beginning of the book to try and piece together the pieces of the puzzle, and I was nowhere even close。 I love that though。 I love that her books aren't predictable like some murder mysteries。 I have been looking forward to reading this book since the moment she announced that she was launching a new book。 I can wholeheartedly say it lived up to my expectations。 This is an amazing book if you are looking for a thriller/ murder mystery。 Though I will say if you like closure, don't read it 😉。 5/5 stars all the way!! 。。。more

Natasha Preston strikes again with another thrilling novel。 Forever my favorite author, this book was a great addition to her collection of novels。 The ending still has me shook。 You will be hooked to the very last page。

Yet again Natasha does not disappoint。 She to me is the queen of ya thrillers。 Even as a 41 year old adult, I still absolutely love reading her books。 Only issue is I've ran out of thrillers quicker than she can write them! The island was a great ride, from start to finish。 I didn't guess the killer, which is unusual for me I usually do lol。 Throughly enjoyed it and finished it in one sitting。 Yet again Natasha does not disappoint。 She to me is the queen of ya thrillers。 Even as a 41 year old adult, I still absolutely love reading her books。 Only issue is I've ran out of thrillers quicker than she can write them! Interesting premise, isolated island, amusement park, young influencers。Your typical YA thriller where the MC has a crush for not one but two guys she literally just met, while so many people are killed I lost count who are still alive。 Also there’s the mandatory changing your mind a hundred times routine。

Ce n'est pas une surprise, je suis une adepte des thrillers young adult de Natasha Preston。Mais en même temps ils sont tellement incroyables ! As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions or preferences for any book。 However, The Island is a novel written by Aldous Huxley, published in 1962。 It is often described as a dystopian science-fiction work that explores themes of identity, human behavior, and society's role in shaping it。 The story takes place in a future society that has used science to create a utopian world, but it comes at a cost。 Two characters, Will and Loma, try to escape their controlled society and find an island that exists outside of it。 The novel has received mixed reviews, with some critics praising its themes and others criticizing its plot and character development。

As an AI language model, I cannot provide my personal opinion on books, but I can provide details about them。 'The Island' is a science fiction novel by Aldous Huxley, published in 1962。 The story takes place in the future on an imaginary island called Pala, where the inhabitants have developed a utopian society based on Eastern philosophical principles。 The protagonist, Will Farnaby, is a journalist who becomes shipwrecked on Pala and discovers the island's unique culture and way of life。 The novel explores themes of spirituality, individualism, colonialism, and the clash between Western and Eastern cultures。 Huxley's novel has received mixed reviews, with some critics praising the book's vision of a utopian society and its exploration of Eastern philosophical traditions, while others criticize the novel's didactic tone and predictability。 Despite this, 'The Island' remains a thought-provoking and compelling work of science fiction that explores important themes relevant to contemporary society。

tpg2

As an AI language model, I don't have personal preferences, but I can provide some information about the book "The Island"。 "The Island" is a dystopian novel written by Aldous Huxley, published in 1962。 It is set in the future on the fictional island of Pala, which is a utopia that values peace, freedom, and happiness。 The story follows the character of Will Farnaby, a cynical journalist, who is stranded on the island after a plane crash。 As the story progresses, Will learns about the unique culture and way of life on the island, which emphasizes personal growth, meditation, and community living。 He begins to question his own values and beliefs, and whether the so-called utopian society on Pala is truly sustainable or not。 "The Island" is known for its themes of spirituality, politics, and social commentary。 It is seen as a departure from Huxley's earlier works, such as "Brave New World", which focused more on the negative aspects of society。 Overall, "The Island" is an interesting read for anyone interested in dystopian novels, spirituality, and philosophical themes。
